Description:
The issue arises from the use of
add query arg without proper escaping on the URL, allowing unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts into pages. This can be achieved if an attacker successfully tricks a user into performing a specific action, such as clicking on a link. The vulnerability enables Reflected Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) attacks.Recommendations:
For versions up to, and including, 2.0.5, update to a version higher than 2.0.5 to resolve the issue.
As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the plugin's functionality until a patch is available.
