Description:
The issue arises from the use of
add query arg without proper escaping on the URL, allowing unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages. This can be achieved if an attacker successfully tricks a user into performing an action, such as clicking on a link.Recommendations:
For versions up to, and including, 1.6.0, update to a version higher than 1.6.0 to resolve the issue.
As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the
add query arg function until a patch is available.Fix
