Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions:
Clio Grow plugin for WordPress versions up to, and including, 1.0.2
Description:
The Clio Grow plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Reflected Cross-Site Scripting due to the use of
add query arg without appropriate escaping on the URL. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that execute if they can successfully trick a user into performing an action such as clicking on a link.Recommendations:
For versions up to, and including, 1.0.2, update to a version that fixes the Reflected Cross-Site Scripting vulnerability.
As a temporary workaround, consider disabling the use of
add query arg until a patch is available.
Restrict access to potentially vulnerable pages to minimize the risk of exploitation.Fix
