| Vector | AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:L/I:N/A:N |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions:
JFlow version 2.0.0
Description:
A problematic issue affects the function
AttachmentUploadController of the component Attachment Handler, specifically in the file "/WF/Ath/EntityMutliFile Load.do". The manipulation of the argument oid leads to improper access controls, allowing for remote attacks. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way.Recommendations:
For JFlow version 2.0.0, as a temporary workaround, consider disabling the
AttachmentUploadController function until a patch is available. Restrict access to the vulnerable component Attachment Handler to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using the argument oid in the affected file "/WF/Ath/EntityMutliFile Load.do" until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.Exploit
