Description
The issue is related to Reflected Cross-Site Scripting due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This allows unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages if they can trick a user into performing an action like clicking on a link. The
yotpo user email and yotpo user name parameters are specifically vulnerable to this issue.Recommendations
For versions up to, and including, 1.7.8, update to a version higher than 1.7.8 to resolve the issue.
As a temporary workaround, consider restricting input for the
yotpo user email and yotpo user name parameters to minimize the risk of exploitation.Fix
