CVE-2024-9390

CVSS v3.1

4.8

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:H/UI:R/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions: RegistrationMagic WordPress plugin versions prior to 6.0.2.1
Description: The issue allows high privilege users, such as admins, to perform Stored Cross-Site Scripting attacks, even when the unfiltered html capability is disallowed, for example, in multisite setups. This is due to the plugin not sanitizing and escaping some of its settings.
Recommendations: For versions prior to 6.0.2.1, update to version 6.0.2.1 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting the ability of high privilege users to access and modify the plugin's settings until the update is applied.
