CVE-2024-9434

CVSS v3.1

6.1

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions WPGlobus Translate Options plugin for WordPress versions up to, and including, 2.2.0
Description The issue is due to missing or incorrect nonce validation on the on translate options page() function, making it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject malicious web scripts and update plugin settings via a forged request. This can happen if an attacker can trick a site administrator into performing an action such as clicking on a link.
Recommendations For versions up to, and including, 2.2.0, update to a version that includes the fix for the missing or incorrect nonce validation on the on translate options page() function. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the on translate options page() function until a patch is available.
