Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
UserPlus plugin for WordPress versions prior to 2.1
Description
The UserPlus plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to unauthorized access, modification, and loss of data due to a missing capability check on multiple functions. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers with subscriber-level permissions or above to add, modify, or delete user meta and plugin options.
Recommendations
For versions prior to 2.1, update to version 2.1 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the plugin's functions to minimize the risk of exploitation.
