CVSS v3.1

| Vector | AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
The School Management System – WPSchoolPress plugin for WordPress versions up to, and including, 2.2.10
Description
The issue is related to privilege escalation via account takeover. This occurs because the plugin does not properly validate a user's identity before updating their details, such as email. As a result, authenticated attackers with teacher-level access or higher can change any user's email address, including those of administrators. This can be leveraged to reset the user's password and gain access to their account.
Recommendations
For versions up to, and including, 2.2.10, update to a version higher than 2.2.10 to resolve the issue.
As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to user detail updates to prevent unauthorized changes.
