CVE-2024-9651

CVSS v3.1

6.1

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Fluent Forms WordPress plugin versions prior to 5.2.1
Description The issue concerns a Stored Cross-Site Scripting attack. High privilege users, such as admins, can exploit this even when the unfiltered html capability is disallowed, for example, in multisite setups. This occurs because the plugin does not properly sanitise and escape some of its settings.
Recommendations For versions prior to 5.2.1, update to version 5.2.1 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting the use of the plugin's settings that are vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting attacks until a patch is applied.
