Description The issue is related to the UpLoadServlet component of the NETGEAR ProSAFE Network Management System, which is vulnerable to directory traversal and remote code execution. This vulnerability allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code on affected installations. The flaw exists within the UpLoadServlet class due to the lack of proper validation of a user-supplied path prior to using it in file operations. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to execute code in the context of SYSTEM. Authentication is required to exploit this vulnerability.
