CVE-2024-9682

CVSS v3.1

6.4

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions The Royal Elementor Addons and Templates plugin for WordPress versions up to, and including, 1.7.1001
Description The issue is related to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the plugin's Form Builder widget due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user-supplied attributes. This allows authenticated attackers with contributor-level access and above to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.
Recommendations For versions up to, and including, 1.7.1001, consider disabling the Form Builder widget until a patch is available to prevent exploitation. Restrict access to the plugin's functionality to minimize the risk of arbitrary web script injection. Avoid using the plugin's Form Builder widget with user-supplied attributes until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
