Description The issue arises from insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user-supplied attributes in the dvk social sharing shortcode. This allows authenticated attackers with contributor-level access and above to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages. These scripts will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.

Recommendations For Social Sharing (by Danny) plugin for WordPress versions up to, and including, 1.3.7: Update to a version later than 1.3.7 to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the dvk social sharing shortcode to prevent exploitation.
