Description
The issue is related to a missing capability check on the
mfcf7 zl custom handle deactivation plugin form submission() function. This allows authenticated attackers with Subscriber-level access and above to deactivate the plugin and send a custom reason from the site.Recommendations
For versions up to, and including, 2.8.1, consider disabling the
mfcf7 zl custom handle deactivation plugin form submission() function until a patch is available to prevent unauthorized plugin deactivation.
