| Vector | AV:A/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:N |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions:
Netgear WNR614 version N300-V1.1.0.54 1.0.1
Description:
The issue is related to weak password requirements in the Netgear WNR614 N300 Wi-Fi router, allowing attackers to create passwords that do not conform to defined security standards. This can be exploited by a remote attacker to create arbitrary passwords.
Recommendations:
For version N300-V1.1.0.54 1.0.1, consider changing the password to a stronger one that conforms to defined security standards as a temporary workaround. Restrict access to the router's configuration interface to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
