Description
The issue is related to the use of defective cryptographic algorithms, which could allow a remote attacker to disclose protected information. This is caused by a failure to honor user configuration for outbound TLS connections, potentially providing weaker than expected security.
Recommendations
For IBM WebSphere Application Server versions 8.5 through 9.0, update the server component to a version that addresses the security issue.
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
