CVE-2024-34105

CVSS v2.0

5.5

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:L/Au:S/C:P/I:P/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Adobe Commerce versions 2.4.7, 2.4.6-p5, 2.4.5-p7, 2.4.4-p8 and earlier
Description The issue is a stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability that could be abused by an admin attacker to inject malicious scripts into vulnerable form fields. Malicious JavaScript may be executed in a victim’s browser when they browse to the page containing the vulnerable field. This is due to a lack of protection of the web page structure.
Recommendations For Adobe Commerce versions 2.4.7, 2.4.6-p5, 2.4.5-p7, 2.4.4-p8 and earlier, consider disabling access to vulnerable form fields until a patch is available. As a temporary workaround, restrict the ability of admin attackers to inject malicious scripts into form fields. Avoid using vulnerable form fields in Adobe Commerce until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
