Description
The issue is related to an Improper Authentication vulnerability that could result in privilege escalation. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability to gain unauthorized access or elevated privileges within the application. Exploitation of this issue does not require user interaction. The vulnerability is associated with deficiencies in the authentication procedure, which could allow a remote attacker to elevate their privileges.
Recommendations
For Adobe Framemaker Publishing Server versions 2020.3, 2022.2 and earlier, update to a version that addresses the Improper Authentication vulnerability to prevent privilege escalation.
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
