Description The issue is related to a use after free vulnerability in the PDFium component of Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge browsers. This vulnerability can be exploited by a remote attacker using specially crafted PDF files, potentially allowing them to disclose protected information. The exploitation is related to heap corruption.
Recommendations For Google Chrome versions prior to 126.0.6478.54, update to version 126.0.6478.54 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider avoiding the use of PDF files from untrusted sources until the update is applied.
