CVSS v3.1
6.1
Medium
| Vector | AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:N |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Adobe Experience Manager versions 6.5.20 and earlier
Description
The issue is related to insufficient protection of the web page structure, allowing for a reflected Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability. If an attacker convinces a victim to visit a URL referencing a vulnerable page, malicious JavaScript content may be executed within the context of the victim's browser. This could potentially allow a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code.
Recommendations
For Adobe Experience Manager versions 6.5.20 and earlier, update to a version later than 6.5.20 to resolve the issue.
As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to vulnerable pages until a patch is available.
