| Vector | AV:N/AC:L/Au:S/C:P/I:P/A:N |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Adobe Experience Manager versions 6.5.20 and earlier
Description
The issue is related to a stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability. This vulnerability could be exploited by an attacker to inject malicious scripts into vulnerable form fields, allowing malicious JavaScript to be executed in a victim's browser when they browse to the page containing the vulnerable field. The vulnerability exists due to inadequate protection of the web page structure, which may allow a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code.
Recommendations
For Adobe Experience Manager versions 6.5.20 and earlier, consider disabling vulnerable form fields until a patch is available to prevent malicious script injection. Restrict access to sensitive pages that may contain vulnerable fields to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using vulnerable form fields in the affected Adobe Experience Manager versions until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
