5.5

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:L/Au:S/C:P/I:P/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions: Adobe Experience Manager versions 6.5.20 and earlier
Description: The issue is related to a stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability that could allow an attacker to inject malicious scripts into vulnerable form fields. Malicious JavaScript may be executed in a victim’s browser when they browse to the page containing the vulnerable field. The vulnerability is also associated with insufficient protection of the web page structure, which could allow a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code.
Recommendations: For Adobe Experience Manager versions 6.5.20 and earlier, consider disabling vulnerable form fields until a patch is available to prevent the injection of malicious scripts. Restrict access to vulnerable pages to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using vulnerable fields in the affected form until the issue is resolved.
