Description:
The issue is related to a stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability. This vulnerability could be exploited by an attacker to inject malicious scripts into vulnerable form fields. As a result, malicious JavaScript may be executed in a victim's browser when they browse to the page containing the vulnerable field. The vulnerability is associated with the failure to protect the structure of web pages.
Recommendations:
For Adobe Experience Manager versions 6.5.20 and earlier, consider disabling the vulnerable form fields until a patch is available to prevent malicious script injection. Restrict access to the vulnerable fields to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using the vulnerable fields in the affected form until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
