VectorAV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description The issue is related to the Linux kernel's media subsystem, specifically the v4l async module. The notifier entry of a notifier is not re-initialised after unregistering the notifier, leading to dangling pointers. This can be resolved by using list del init() to return the notifier entry an empty list. The vulnerability may allow an attacker to impact the availability of protected information.
