Description
The issue is related to the function
savagefb probe() in the Linux kernel, which fails to handle the error return of savagefb check var(). This can cause a divide-by-zero error when pixclock is 0. The commit 04e5eac8f3ab checks the value of pixclock to avoid this error. The vulnerability may allow an attacker to cause a denial of service.Recommendations
