CVE-2024-41876
CVSS v2.0
5.5
Medium
| Vector | AV:N/AC:L/Au:S/C:P/I:P/A:N |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Adobe Experience Manager versions 6.5.20 and earlier
Description
The issue is related to insufficient protection of the web page structure in Adobe Experience Manager, which can allow a remote attacker to conduct cross-site scripting attacks. If an attacker can convince a victim to visit a URL referencing a vulnerable page, malicious JavaScript content may be executed within the context of the victim's browser.
Recommendations
For versions 6.5.20 and earlier, update to a version that includes the fix for this issue to prevent reflected Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) attacks. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to vulnerable pages until a patch is available. Avoid allowing victims to visit URLs that reference vulnerable pages to minimize the risk of exploitation.
