Description
This issue allows network-adjacent attackers to execute arbitrary code on affected installations of Autel MaxiCharger AC Elite Business C50 charging stations. Although authentication is required to exploit this issue, the existing authentication mechanism can be bypassed. The specific flaw exists within the handling of the
AppChargingControl BLE command, resulting from the lack of proper validation of the length of user-supplied data prior to copying it to a fixed-length stack-based buffer. An attacker can leverage this issue to execute code in the context of the device.Recommendations
