Description
The issue is related to a heap-based buffer overflow in the
H5D scatter mem() function in the H5Dscatgath.c file of the HDF5 Library. This can potentially allow a remote attacker to impact the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of protected information.Recommendations
For HDF5 Library versions prior to 1.14.4, consider updating to a version that contains a fix for this issue, as the current version is affected by a heap-based buffer overflow in the
