Description The issue is related to a stack overflow in the fromSafeClientFilter function, which can be triggered via the Go parameter. This allows attackers to cause a Denial of Service (DoS) by sending a crafted POST request. The vulnerability can be exploited by a remote attacker.
Recommendations For Tenda FH1201 version 1.2.0.14 (408), as a temporary workaround, consider disabling the fromSafeClientFilter function until a patch is available. Restrict access to the vulnerable function to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using the Go parameter in the affected API endpoint until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
