Description: The issue is related to an out of bounds read past the end of an allocated structure while parsing specially crafted PAR files. This could allow an attacker to execute code in the context of the current process. The vulnerability is associated with a buffer overflow in memory, which can be exploited using specially formed PAR files to execute arbitrary code.

Recommendations: For versions prior to V224.0 Update 5, update to V224.0 Update 5 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting the use of PAR files from untrusted sources until the update is applied.
