Description: The issue is related to an uninitialized value in the BPF CORE READ BITFIELD macro, defined in bpf core read.h. GCC warns that the val variable may be used uninitialized. The vulnerability can potentially impact the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of protected information. A patch has been added to initialize val to zero in the switch statement to avoid the warning.
Recommendations: At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
