Description
The issue is related to a Use After Free vulnerability that could result in arbitrary code execution in the context of the current user. Exploitation of this issue requires user interaction, where a victim must open a malicious file. This vulnerability is associated with the use of memory after it has been freed, which can allow an attacker to execute arbitrary code.
Recommendations
For Adobe Animate versions 23.0.7, 24.0.4 and earlier, consider avoiding the use of potentially vulnerable functions until a patch is available. As a temporary workaround, refrain from opening malicious or untrusted files to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
