Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
D-Link DIR-619L version 2.06
Description
A critical issue is present in the formVirtualServ function of the /goform/formVirtualServ file, which can be exploited remotely. The manipulation of the
curTime argument leads to a buffer overflow. This can cause a denial of service by sending a specially crafted POST request. The attack can be launched remotely.Recommendations
For D-Link DIR-619L version 2.06, as a temporary workaround, consider disabling the formVirtualServ function until a patch is available. Restrict access to the /goform/formVirtualServ file to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using the
curTime argument in the affected API endpoint until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.Exploit
