Description The issue is a Heap-based Buffer Overflow that could result in arbitrary code execution in the context of the current user. Exploitation of this issue requires user interaction, where a victim must open a malicious file. This allows an attacker to execute arbitrary code with the privileges of the current user by using a specially crafted file.

Recommendations For Substance3D - Stager versions 3.0.3 and earlier, update to a version later than 3.0.3 to resolve the issue. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
