Description
The issue is related to the Connector/ODBC component of the MySQL Connectors product, which is part of the Oracle MySQL system. It is caused by inadequate authorization procedure due to incorrect input validation. This allows an unauthenticated attacker with network access via multiple protocols to compromise MySQL Connectors. Successful attacks can result in unauthorized update, insert, or delete access to some of MySQL Connectors' accessible data and the ability to cause a partial denial of service (partial DOS) of MySQL Connectors.
Recommendations
For versions 9.0.0 and prior, update to a version that includes the fix for this issue.
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
