Description

formLogDnsquery function of the file /goform/formLogDnsquery. The manipulation of the curTime argument leads to buffer overflow. The attack may be initiated remotely. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. This issue may allow an attacker to impact the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of protected information by sending a specially crafted POST request.Recommendations
For D-Link DIR-619L B1 version 2.06, as a temporary workaround, consider disabling the
formLogDnsquery function until a patch is available. Restrict access to the /goform/formLogDnsquery endpoint to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using the curTime argument in the affected API endpoint until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.Exploit
