| Vector | AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions:
Cisco Secure Client Software versions 4.10 and earlier
Description:
The issue is related to an integer underflow condition in the Internet Key Exchange version 2 (IKEv2) processing of Cisco Secure Client Software. This could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to cause a denial of service (DoS) by sending a crafted IKEv2 packet to an affected system, resulting in the client software crashing.
Recommendations:
For Cisco Secure Client Software versions 4.10 and earlier, update to a version later than 4.10 to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to IKEv2 packets to minimize the risk of exploitation.
