Description
The issue is related to a memory buffer overflow in the AcTranslators.exe executable file of Autodesk AutoCAD. This can be exploited by using a specially crafted STEP file, potentially allowing an attacker to gain unauthorized access to protected information, execute arbitrary code, or cause a denial of service. The vulnerability can be triggered when a maliciously crafted STP file is parsed, leading to memory corruption. This could result in a crash, sensitive data being written, or arbitrary code execution within the context of the current process.
