Description A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's af unix component has been resolved. The issue was related to a task hung in the unix gc() function due to a while loop that never proceeds when a specific condition is met. This condition occurs when oob skb has self-referencing fd and another fd, and the latter sk is placed before the former in the candidate list. The vulnerability could result in a denial of service (DoS).
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
