Description The vulnerability is related to a divide-by-zero error in the sisfb check var() function. This error can occur when the var->pixclock value is used as a divisor to calculate drate before it is checked against zero. The issue can be exploited by a user-space program passing any value to the driver through the ioctl() interface, potentially causing a denial-of-service.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
