Description The issue is related to errors in memory boundary handling in the efi component of the Linux kernel. It may allow an attacker to cause a denial of service. The problem occurs when there are 4GB or more worth of pages in a soft-reserved region, potentially leading to an overflow of the soft-reserved region size.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
