Description
The issue is related to an out-of-bounds write in the parsing of U3D files, which can be exploited by remote attackers to execute arbitrary code on affected installations. This requires user interaction, such as visiting a malicious page or opening a malicious file. The problem stems from the lack of proper validation of user-supplied data, allowing a write past the end of an allocated buffer. An attacker can leverage this to execute code in the context of the current process.
