CVE-2023-52649

CVSS v3.1

7.8

High

VectorAV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description The issue is related to the drm/vkms component of the Linux kernel, where an incorrect input check in the apply lut to channel value() function can lead to a denial of service. When the floor LUT index (drm fixp2int(lut index)) is the last index of the array, the ceil LUT index will point to an entry beyond the array. To guard against this, the value of the floor LUT index should be used.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
