Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description
The issue is related to the dwc3-am62 component in the Linux kernel, which has a problem with resource management. When runtime PM is enabled, the module can be runtime suspended when the .remove() function is called. To fix this, a pm runtime get sync() is used to ensure the module is active before performing register operations. Additionally, a pm runtime put sync() is used to disable the refclk, making it unnecessary to disable it again. This fix resolves a warning that occurs during module removal. The warning is related to the clk core disable function in the drivers/clk/clk.c file.
Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
