Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Adobe Experience Manager versions 6.5.20 and earlier
Description
A stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability exists in Adobe Experience Manager, which an attacker could exploit to inject malicious scripts into vulnerable form fields. This could allow malicious JavaScript to be executed in a victim's browser when they access the page containing the vulnerable field. The vulnerability is due to inadequate protection of the web page structure.
Recommendations
For Adobe Experience Manager versions 6.5.20 and earlier, update to a version later than 6.5.20 to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to vulnerable form fields to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using vulnerable form fields until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about additional mitigation measures.
