Description
The issue is related to a boundary check in the Linux kernel's magnetometer component, specifically in the
rm3100 common probe() function. The problem arises from out-of-bounds access to the rm3100 samp rates array due to underlying hardware failures. This can cause a kernel crash. The vulnerability may allow an attacker to cause a denial of service.Recommendations
