Description:
The issue is related to an out-of-bounds read operation in memory, which could allow an attacker to gain unauthorized access to protected information using a specially crafted file. Exploitation of this issue requires user interaction, where a victim must open a malicious file, potentially leading to the disclosure of sensitive memory. This could also enable an attacker to bypass certain mitigations, such as Address Space Layout Randomization (ASLR).
Recommendations:
For Adobe After Effects versions 23.6.9, 24.6.2 and earlier, update to a version that contains a fix for this issue to prevent potential exploitation.
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
