Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions: Adobe Illustrator versions 28.5, 27.9.4 and earlier
Description: The issue is caused by a buffer overflow in dynamic memory, which can allow an attacker to execute arbitrary code using a specially crafted file. Exploitation of this issue requires user interaction, where a victim must open a malicious file, potentially leading to arbitrary code execution in the context of the current user.
Recommendations: For Adobe Illustrator versions 28.5, 27.9.4 and earlier, update to a version that contains a fix for this issue to prevent arbitrary code execution. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
