CVSS v3.1

6.3

Medium

VectorAV:L/AC:H/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:H/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions: Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description: The issue is related to a race condition in the Linux kernel's octeontx2-af component. This occurs when the same interrupt handler is registered for both PF to AF interrupt vector and VF to AF vector, leading to data corruption when two interrupts are raised to two CPUs at the same time. The vulnerability may allow an attacker to cause a denial of service.
Recommendations: At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
