Description: The issue is related to a lockup in the dm snapshot component of the Linux kernel when exiting a snapshot with many exceptions. This is due to improper resource locking in the dm exception table exit() function. Exploitation of this issue could allow an attacker to cause a denial of service.
Recommendations: At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
